Union Pride

We are an organized brotherhood based on trust, loyalty and security. We speak with a group voice to structure benefits, secure employment and negotiate contracts.

It is our duty to continue the work our forefathers started to establish safe working conditions and protect workers’ rights.

Boilermakers Advantage

The Boilermaker Advantage is a true lifestyle for our union members that provides fair treatment, pay and benefits. This advantage is not limited to just earning 26% higher wages than non-union workers but offers a voice of representation, respect and a safe place to work.

As a union worker, you have the benefit of the union working to negotiate for contracted pay increases and defined benefits in a contract along with a retirement.

Common Arc

Common Arc The Common Arc Program conducts mass weld qualifications throughout the country with each welder obtaining a six-month certification from contractors and, in some instances, the owner community. Hosting these events nationally saves the contractors up to 95% cost of testing welders and also simplifies the hiring and testing of welders nation wide.

TWIC

The Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC, is required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act for employees or workers who need access to high security areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. TSA conducts a security threat assessment (background check) to determine a person’s eligibility and issues the credential. U.S. citizens and immigrants in certain immigration categories may apply for the credential.

M.O.S.T.

M.O.S.T. (Mobilization, Optimization, Stabilization and Training) – are designed to increase the skill levels of all Boilermakers, and provide value to the Owners and Contractors who employ them.

Since its inception, M.O.S.T. Programs have resulted in a 90% reduction in OSHA recordable injuries.

The 16 programs that comprise M.O.S.T. were developed and designed specifically for the Boilermaker trade and are categorized in one of four dedicated components based on their intent.

Implementing this program into our trade and using OSHA fundamentals for the job has had great success in training boilermakers for work and assembles a skilled workforce every time.
